On Monday (18/12), Jonathan Majors was found guilty of assaulting and harassing his ex, Grace Jabbari, in an incident in a rental car in New York City.

The trial judge also renewed Jabbari's protective order against Majors. The jury believes Majors attacked Jabbari, but accidentally.

The jury does not believe that Major intentionally abused Jabbari in the car, but they believe he did so outside the car by taking Jabbari out and throwing her into the car.

According to the ABC report quoted by Page Six, Majors did not react when the verdict was read as he stood facing the jury.

"It's clear that the jury did not believe Grace Jabbari's account of what happened in the SUV because they found Mr. Majors did not intentionally cause Jabbari's injuries. We are grateful for that," Majors' attorney, Priya Chaudhry, told Page Six.

"We are disappointed that, despite not believing Jabbari, the jury still found that Mr. Majors was careless when he attacked Jabbari," he continued. "Mr Majors remains confident in this process and looks forward to fully clearing his name."

Jonathan Majors plans to hear the judge's decision regarding the sentence he should receive at the trial which will be held on February 6 2023.
